Awww. I really wasn't sure what to expect as I didn't know the song but that was utterly lovely. Great story.

You made me cry! I have three daughters, and although none of them are currently dating, I know this time is coming.

SO beautiful! Oh, what a way to start my day... Thank you so much! And thanks for giving us a glimpse into the future? I hope this is Dangerverse, so at least the trio makes it through. You couldn't have mentioned some other members of the Pack or the Pride, could you? (Of course not, but I think you understand).

Cheers!

I knew Heartland by name, if not by song (being that I live in Alabama) but I had to go find the song and listen to it as I read. It's a bit like Accidentally in Love, I have to listen to that one too. And I just sat and bawled. Which is about the highest compliment I can give someone.

Though the line "...acknowledging the ones who couldn’t be there. Know that you’re missed, and we love you still" didn't really help either. It leaves many many questions.

I still hang hope that all the kids make it. I suppose as I get older and the reality of losing my parents becomes more real, that doesn't bother me as much, though I expect to bawl again when it happens :)

A very heart-warming short story, that, and quite a pleasureable read. I can well appreciate Remus' feelings here. Will you be doing a matching one for Harry & Ginny?

Awwww !! ! ! ! I love that song, it made me cry the first time I heard it. That's the only time I've heard it because I never have the radio on, but it sure stuck to the point where I can sing along with the story.

*sniffles* Little Neenie's all grown up and married.

You have officially made my evening by posting. Thank you.

Cheers.

beautiful as usual Anne! i love it. not being familiar with the song, i did not actually pick up any hint that it was a Ron/Hermione until you came right out and said it.

having now re-read it, i can see there are a few, but i loved it!

Thanks. I've been thinking of that ever since I first heard this song, and now it's out here for you to enjoy.
