Question: Obviously, it makes a lot of sense to think that Voldemort, being resurrected as he was using HARRY'S blood, would be able to bypass the blood-wards, is that not true?
I'll wait and see if this is just a necessity of the plot or what...

Reply to OrionHR: There's a list in the Files section on Anne's YahooGroup, groups.yahoo.com/group/livingwithdanger, under Information.
Question for Anne: Why don't you mention the YahooGroup on fanficauthors?

I've started a promise to myself that I will at least review the story, if not each chapter. So my review for Dealing with Danger...
A continued good job on severely twisting the HP universe. I like how you tell the story. I am eager to see the next (and final) volume in your series.
I can't directly list any cons in your work but I usually need a couple of read-throughs to catch mistakes and such. But one thing I do have is with the pendant jewels. Do we know how many are left for each person? I've found it hard to keep count of the gems that have been used. Could we get some kind of breakdown on this?
Other than that, great job with the writing.

Once again a wonderful chapter. I must say I am itching with curiousity to know what is in the letter from I assume Blaise.
And I don't know if I missed something, but why is Sirius going to be gone??
You are a very talented writer and I enjoy your work so very much. I can't wait to see what comes next!!

It's going to be a very long month for all concerned I suspect. I like the way you dealt with the graveyard scene by killing Cedric, as it basically had to happen, and with Fudge. Excellent story. I can't wait for more. Poor Harry, but at least things are nowhere near as bad in this as they are in cannon.

I've loved the story, but... just like canon, after a massively traumatic experience, he goes straight off to the Dursleys with zero support. This time he doesn't even have an owl, and Dudley's a death eater. Or as good as.
I honestly don't see how he can get through it without serious damage.
I dunno. I'm puzzled by the way the Pack parents always just do whatever Dumbledore says. Like the whole ridiculous tri-wizard competition - when Dumbledore announces that Harry has to compete, whether he likes it or not, and they just meekly accept it. And what follows - disaster after disaster, right there in Hogwarts, yet no one seems to question the notion that Dumbledore's got everything under control.
At the moment the attitude seems to be, "Harry - it's your job to handle every kind nastiness that happens, and without any kind of complaint on pain of being called a whiner; and we, the adults, have no responsibility at all to make things better." It's one kind of child rearing, I guess, but I really wonder what will happen when Harry decides he's finally had enough of it.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Harry has Hedwig. Sorry if that wasn't mentioned explicitly. How do you know he's going to have no support while he's there? Sirius is off on some unexplained errand, after all...
The Pack-parents don't "always just do what Dumbledore says" because it's what Dumbledore says. They do it because they don't have a lot of choice. The Tournament, as noted in canon, was a binding magical contract. Why didn't Dumbledore pull Harry out of the Tournament? Because, in both worlds, the alternative to letting him compete was obviously worse.
In this case, Harry can stay with his family but be open to Voldemort's mental intrusions whenever Voldemort feels like it, or he can be away from them for a while (in contact more or less continuously, I might add) and safer mentally. Plus, if anything were to start happening to him, the Pack-parents would know and there would be skid marks on whatever it is you Apparate through.

Thanks for all the chapters. Going back to the Dursleys was unexpected.

Another great chapter, and a nice ending for this part of the story. I think that sending him to the Dursleys is a mustake, but I think I see were you will be going with this. Dudley is going to be a pain in the Ass. I think it is going to get real ugly there. I can't wait for the next story to start.

Very well done as always, Miss Author. I look forward to the next addition to the Dangerverse. And also for when you update "Truth Amid the Lies" next. Keep up the good work!

Whoa!!
I can't believe you sent Harry to the Dursley's!!
Thats just cruel! Especially after you made Dumbledore take Harry aside and tell him not to push away the people he cares about. Then Dumbledore takes him away fromt he people he cares about, a bit odd that. You've always seemed to have Dumbledore understand the power of the pack why change that now?
I think you should have done the scene with the pack parents and Dumbledore discussing this. Think it would have shown more resistance to it, that the Pack would definitely have!! They seem to have rolled over and played dead with it.
I know that was a bit rant like. Sorry. I did like other aspects of the chapter. Harry's dealing with the aftermath seemed very real.
Its been a superb story and an even better ride. Thank you for such a brilliant story!
I look forward to years Five, Six and Seven now!
ooh, please update Vivens Cum Pericula first that was getting good.
But please don't leave the main story arc to long, as the Dangerverse is one of my favourite fanfics out there.

Hmm, I guess after going through it a second time doesn't make it sound so bad. My appologies; I did not intend to sound so critizing on my very first review. I blame being groggy and only 3 hours of sleep.
I should have mentioned this in my previous review, but I like the dark turn the story is taking. Many AU's sometimes have Harry being too happy; you have given him a loving family while staying somewhat true to the depressing canon atmosphere after GOF.

I don't like the dark turn this is story is taking; I don't like all the angst. You're doing a great job at promoting a hopeless atmosphere in the reader, by doing things like killing Cedric off after making it seem like he might survive, and sending Harry to the Dursleys. There's no telling how long it will last, either. I'll continue reading the chapters, for the eventual happy end that I'm sure will come, but I'm not currently getting any enjoyment out of this. I'm also probably not ever going to re-read the story. Why subject myself to the whole rainy soul miasma twice?

Ah man. I hate, hate, hate the Dursleys! Well at least its not going to be as bad as the books . . . he has the pack to fall back on now.

Hurray! This is such a fun fic to read. I'd be sad about the next one being the last, except your chapters are always long (and plentiful). Hope grad school treats you well and you still have time to share your creativity with us.
