Great chapter. I'd lost my way with this story somewhat and am having to re-find the thread. Its all very enjoyable though.
thanks for writing,

Agh... I had such love for this story in the beginning... but I'm quickly becoming confused...
Over the past week or so, I've read all four series all the way to this point... I'll probably keep going... But I'm getting apprehensive...
Why? The department of mysteries was nearly incomprehensible to me. I think I got every bit in the end, except how many death eaters died... but it was timed wrong... I'd be getting a hold on one story track when you'd suddenly cut to another and I'd get lost again. I was VERY confused until it was all over with.
Another reason? I'm starting to hate Luna. I understand that with Voldemort back things are going to get darker in here, but Luna's random death knells are really starting to get to me. I like happy fics, I do not like excessive main character deaths. Outside that, I'm sure her foreshadowing makes sense to you, but to the reader, it's just confused and though it will probably make sense in the end, it just annoys me currently. Finally, I'm disliking the whole LunaxDracoxAmanda thing. I love the pack and pride and you're working with MORE than enough characters. I don't see why you needed this storyline... though it will no doubt make sense in the end...
Finally... LET THE BAD GUYS DIE! I know you want to see a Lucius vs Draco showdown, but honestly it's destroying your characters! I don't see any reason that Lupin would save Lucius in the DoM. It just doesn't add up. He's done nothing but cause trouble constantly and he's a threat to the life of the pack.
Whew... glad that's over... I hope you made it this far through my review without dismissing me as another flamer. Honestly, I like you fic and I like your writing, but it's just starting to be too much for me. You have soooo many storylines running at the same time and some of them just seem unnecessary to me. Your character development is completely WONDERFUL, but you have sooooo many characters and you're trying to develop all of them at once. You've got a prophecy a year, do you really need Luna's random bits?
If you ignore the rest of the review, please read this part. You are an excellent writer, but it seems to me that your story has spiraled out of control. I honestly have nothing but love for the first three pieces in the dangerverse, heck I'll probably read them again at some point, but this piece is quickly leaving me behind while I'm trying to keep track of everything.
Later,
Rex
Anne B. Walsh replied:
You're not a flamer. Flamers are the people who tell me I'm boring, my characters are Mary Sues, and I should be ashamed of myself for writing such crap. You are an honest and polite reviewer.
Thanks for the concrit. I'll try to pull things together in the coming chapters--there's a reason for all the new characters, I promise there is, and I'm sorry the DoM was so hard to understand. Pacing/timing is one of the areas I'm still working on. As for Luna... she's up to something. More on that later. And Remus is just a little too good for his own good, if you know what I mean.
Thank you also for the nice compliments. I shall try to keep being worthy of them.

Loved it. Really did. And 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas', if you please :). And Amanda is turning out quite devious :D (I like it, though I'd still like it more if you kept Luna in the end as Draco's girlfriend. Oh, and don't leave him in his misery too long :P He's just a man, they can't handle much ;))

Whew 2 weeks, very little sleep later, and I am in love with your world ^_^ I've actually started to talk about "Danger Verse" more than I have " Harry Potter" XD I LOVE it. Absolutely enthralled. I await the next chapter with bated breath! And I like Deck The Halls the best ^_^

I only recently discovered the Dangerverse, and have been eagerly devouring your works since then. This series is brilliantly plotted and extremely well written. And your characters are fantastic - I don't always agree with introducing OCs but Danger, Aletha and Meghan work really well. Thank you very much for the hours of enjoyment these fanfics have provided, and I hope you plan to update Facing Danger very soon.
P.S Thanks for keeping Sirius alive!!

Deck the Halls!
Anyway, everything since I reviewed on Chapter 7...I almost sort of wish Sirius died, because it's still just the slightest bit too happy, I think. I mean, Cedric died and baby Marcus died, but we haven't *really* got smacked in the face with the fact it's a war, and that people Harry is very close to are in danger and will die.
But I'm still having loads of fun. Update soon!

A friend told me of your writings recently and I've just finished the main Danger series up to this part (now to start on the shorts and stuff...) This is fun.

Alright, I take back the unoriginal comment. That was a bit tactless as I've been reading back over a few of my favorite parts and have come to realize that the graveyard part and the Atrim part are better than the originals.
In a sick sort of Iway I love how you dangled the hope that Cedric would survive and I think it was brilliant how you put off killing him and the way Voldemort toyed with them before killing "the extra." The Atrim scene was just brilliant in the way that they fooled Voldemort.
As to originality, you are quite unique in your writing style and the story for which you have chosen. Good job, I hope to read more in the future.

The sheer length of your stories is what originally attracted me and now I'm glad that I've stuck with you for as long as I have. I've watched your stories go from infuriatingly nondescript and almost unoriginal to almost better than the books.
I liked how you started the entire thing off and the fact that Harry didn't have to grow up with the Dursleys and how you cursed them and turned Dudley into a wizard. After reading your stories I can't even look at Draco without thinking of how you changed his character and placed him in the same house as Harry. I really loved the fact that you had Sirius become a female author that Proffessor McGonagall absolutely loved.
Your stories one of the few that have ade me laugh and I plan on sticking with you until the bitter end. So, update soon please.

I have just started reading you series and I couldn't stop. I love this universe you've created. You are one of the very few writers who can create OCs without turning them into Mary Sues. I am incredibly impressed and in my personal opinion, these are way better than the actual books. By the way, I would prefer Deck the Halls, even though I don't know what it's for. Keep up the amazing work.
Love Always,
~Rose

Oh dear... not one of Luna's smarter moves, I'm afraid. She conceded far more than she needed to or should have.
Deck the Halls, I think.

I loved Amanda's little story. That was nicely dark. I also liked their way of working out how to get Draco for themselves. He's going to be a very confused boy for a while.
The dreams were great, especially the part where Remus shook them like the voice of God. Remus's claim to the life-debt has really set the cat among the pigeons in Voldie's camp.
LOL at Dumbledore's reading room. The use of the Captain was also great, his power is so cool. We Wish You A Merry Christmas. More please. Great chapter, as ever.

Nicely done. I'm working on a more detailed review over at TFA, but I thought you'd appreciate another favourable comment ;)
So now we sail into "Half-Blood Prince" territory, or are you leaving that until the end-of-year, or even ignoring it?

Thank you for a wonderful update. I love all the Danger stories. Thank you for a deliciously delightful end to that witch Umbridge, too bad it couldn't have been more drawn out and painful...like a blood quill through her head! ha ha ...Please update soon!!--Oh, and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"

I believe we all like to read there.
My vote is for "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". The Bob Rivers version that should be sung to/about Peeves:
We wish you weren't living with us
We wish you weren't living with us
We wish you weren't living with us
We're not happy you're here
You're feeding your face
You're taking up space
We wish you weren't living with us
We're not happy you're here

Poor Draco he's going to be going nuts with those 2 girls taking turns at him. That thing with lucius was kinda weird wasn't sure if it was really happening or not until the oath. and umm... We wish you a Merry Christmas
