Okay, the Bad Things have officially begun, and of course you left us just when Things were just starting to get Interesting. Evil Author. See, I can use Capital Letters, too.

So, Sirius is upset that he couldn't save his brother, no real news there. Although I do find myself intrigued by whatever it is that Letha planned for their evening; I'm guessing that since this is a T rated story, though, I'll just have to use my imagination. *grins*

That was really funny watching Neville teach his father about the potion pieces. As uncomfortable as that must have been for Neville, I was really impressed with how adult and responsible he taught the DA to be about working with weapons like that. Even though it means I am asking for more Bad Things, I am kind of looking forward to seeing them in action against the Death Eaters.

And finally, oh, dear, poor Penny and Percy. I wonder if our new little Muggleborn witch will survive? I really dislike character death, although I can accept it if it is necessary. I don't think you are such an Evil Author that you would do it gratuitously (although I am wondering about Draco's upcoming demise - that one will hurt). In a way, it is much easier for me to accept death when it comes unexpectedly rather than something that you know is coming ahead of time, like through illness or, in this case, prophecy.

And just so that you don't think I am being maudlin, I just want you to know how impressed I am that this chapter arrived so soon. Let the Bad Things continue posthaste!

It's more fun to let readers use their imagination that way. Neville has a very wide streak of responsibility. And yes, Penny, Percy, and little Annette are all to be pitied, though for different reasons. Define "gratuitous"--people die in wars, sometimes randomly.

Oh but you are mean, mean and evil! Still love your writing though, of course. Loved the Sirius-Regulus part of the storyline - naturally JK never had to show this side of the story, so Sirius' reaction to Kreacher's tale is very interesting. Will only say that I hope you update soon so that we can find out just how mean and evil you plan to be...

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Mean and evil is fun. And yes, I wanted to see what the relations between the brothers might have been like. More meanness and evilness on the way!
