Very interesting story. Thank you for writing it.

I have some ideas about post-life adventures (of course I used them in my own story), so I'm not sure what to expect.

It will be interesting if Ron learns to play well with others, as Draco is learning

Bwahahaha! So what's it going to be, Mr. Malfoy? Can you give up your pride to save your life and the lives of your companions? Or are you going to hold onto them until the Nothing takes you? *tick tock tick tock* Time's running out, Mr. Malfoy.

This story is so interesting! I'm totally lost, although I see some of the connections everyone has been discussing. I can't wait for the new chapter. Whydoyouneedtoknow? You are such a great writer! Thank you for sharing your talent with us :)

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Thank you very much, and I hope the next chapter clears everything up satisfactorily!

The idea of the encroaching blackness is an interesting plot device. Is it based on The Langoliers from Steven King, or is it something out of Deathly Hallows? (I don't really remember most of the Beetle the Bard stuff from DH.) Also, is there a specific reason for the "so many words" rule, or is that just a convenient narrative device?

I don't think it's particularly fair of the Fates (or whoever) to ask Draco to give up the three things that he's not only proudest to be but also the three things that make him who he is. It'd be like asking Harry to give up his courage. Harry without courage would no longer be Harry Potter, and Draco without his Slytherin tendencies or his blood purity would no longer be Draco Malfoy.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Never read any Steven King--this is out of my own little head. There's a reason for the rule. And who said the Fates were fair? Draco will still have Slytherin tendencies, they just can't rule his life quite the same way they were doing. (But that's an interesting point at the end there... mwahaha.)

Hi, Well where ever it goes the story is entrancing and very fascinating. It is certainly up to your Dangerverse standards and I love it. Thank you for this one

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Thanks!

Uh, Oh, I never liked The gondolieers movie nor book. Though it ended pretty well.

I think you may mean something else...

Obviously they're likely to end up in the Dangerverse, my one thing is why then didn't they take Ginny, Neville and Luna with them? Is it because those three didn't have to go through as many changes? Or is it just because it's the Trio and Draco, and Hermione and Harry are two from the Prophesy, while Ron and Draco both need to get over their own forms of prejudice?

Either way I like it, I'm just wondering!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Good wondering, but there is a reason and you will find it out as soon as the chapter's ready!

Wow! Aletha met them. She is Harry's Godmother. Now I'm beginning to understand. Now Draco has to give up being a Slytherin, his pureblood status and the Malfoy name. That was Danger wispering in his ear. All that without the information that it will be a good thing. I look forward to more of this story. Thanks for writing. pms

Anne B. Walsh replied:

You've got it, more or less. More as soon as it's ready!

You are such a tease. Making us think the last chapter will be up soon but noooo....it might turn to 4. LOL.

So I was a bit right. It seems like they have come to Draco's 'dream' world from BC.
The dark woman is Aletha and the voice Draco hears is the Cecy/Mum from the dream world.

I can hardly wait for the next one? Tommorow perhaps? *shivers with excitement (or cold)*

Until next time, take care. C

Anne B. Walsh replied:

You're partly right and partly wrong and shall learn more as soon as I write the next (and I think truly last) chapter.

Hmm... my first guess was that the "shell" that died was the last canon book (Deathly Hallows), from what the characters must escape before the last word (hence the bit about finishing within a number of words.) However, since first it would have been a modified version of DH to begin with since the pre-resurrection infodump came from Dumbledore, and second you of ALL people know perfectly well that the world and characters do not end with "The End", especially in THIS case (any more than Frodo, Toad or Peter Pan are dead)... well, perhaps not. In any case I wanna read the rest of this. Keep up the good work!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

You've got good points (and are mostly right), but this situation was somewhat rigged. More details in upcoming chapter.

I think this is just going to be a story where I'm going to have to wait until the end. I'm still confused, but hey...it's a good read!!!!!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Well, the end approaches quickly. Thanks for the compliment!
