That helps so much, love this. I also love the way that Alex is snarky at a distance!

This series is just amazing as are the little one shots and stories that branch off the what ifs. I do have to wonder did the pack-parents ever learn that it was Harry and the others who prevented Hagrid from being found out as raising (and hatching) an illegal dragon? I can't wait until you update again, keep up the excellent work!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

The Pack-parents knew from the beginning, and decided that since the cubs did help Hagrid get rid of the dragon, there would be no consequences.

Though not entirely glad of being insomniac tonight, I am glad to have had such a congenial read while doing it, and glad to be caught up. As always, skillful evoking of emotions, some tantilising mystery, and several moments of great amusement, though I should have noted them down for recounting. At any rate, I look forward to more, and likewise good luck on your other ventures. :-)

Here's hoping you've caught up on your sleep a bit!

Hrmm. Things are afoot, and events proceed apace. It's good to see the return of the prophecies, and also the people who aren't Ginny noticing the romance parts of them. And Amanda's motivations are clearer, but more ominous. Can't wait to see where we go next. Write swiftly and boldly!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

*wiggles feet in your general direction* Boldly I can do. Swiftly... working on it!

Good for Alex; that was just what I was thinking at the end there. That and maybe we're almost past all the elaboration of questions needed to set up for the ending, and into the part of the story where may finally get some answers.. Even if we're not THAT close to the end. I'm going to miss this crew when the story is done, but nobody can argue it hasn't been truly epic. Looking forward to To Steal and Save !

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Answers coming up, though you may not like some of them. And hey, epic is (apparently) what I do!

Yay a new chapter.

I love the scene with the magic trick. Shows that even wizards can still wonder about things :)

Alex is a great character. I still don't get the thing with slytherins gift...oh well. I like Draco's plan. Although I don't want to see him die I am looking forward to the time when that scene finally comes to pass. Ah sweet sweet mystery.

Well writen chapter.

All of Slytherin's line are, or ought to be, Seers. The elder line, which led to the Gaunts and Voldemort, just shut it out after it kept showing them stuff they didn't like.

This was a good chapter, something normal to do (read) after one of the craziest weeks of my life. Thankyou so very much for your writing Anne it give me a place to escape to from a crazy world. But there is one thing im still unsure of is Alex a seer or can he do telepathy or both or what?

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Alex is a Seer, yes. All of Slytherin's line are, or ought to be. The main line (Voldemort, etc) shut the power out after it kept showing them things they didn't want.

Oh Anne, This world you've created keeps me so enthralled. I can't wait for another update, though I understand life might be in the way for awhile. I have to admit, I am quite confused about the Amanda plotline. I figure it'll take me a few more read-throughs but I'll get it eventually. Thanks for being so amazing!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Amanda's meant to be confusing at this point. I promise, it all does get sorted out in the end!
