Draco's scornful suggestions of muggle hideouts under Hogwarts and other 'unlikely' things were most amusing, and I particularly enjoyed Dobby's threats.

*leaps at Fox, catches computer as it tumbles out of chair, blinks, looks around*
Damn. That was well written and certainly dispelled most of the heartache I was feeling for him. It certainly drew me in with the vividness of the sights and sounds and scents described. Thus far, one of my favorites.
Peter is...not surprising in his character growth. I felt he had potential the JKR didn't tap into and I'm loving the way that you're spinning him, especially with Evanie. It doesn't make up for what he did, not by a long shot, but he's more than paid for it-in my opinion. Who needs Azkaban when you have your own self-hate and friends like Voldemort! (I am not calling him Riddle, I refuse to call him Riddle. That would be an insult to your Riddle in "Be Careful")
Fred is...God I hope he survives this. Crystal, too. It might be easier for Crystal because of Percy, he's been there and gone through it, but Fred is completely and utterly alone in his grief for his twin. I can't blame him if he does find some way to end the pain. I can't even fault him if he does it through taking out a giant number of Death Munchers. If he does do it, hopefully he takes 12 out for the count! And take Bellatrix with them!
With Luna? I'm sensing a plot twist! Yaaaaay~!

LOL at Draco stealing the flute from Peter like that with no real idea of what it was. Think Lucius didn't think that bit through AT ALL.
Intrigued by Luna's cleverness!
Loved the final scene with Fox.
Congratulations to you and your sister. Hoping to see a new chapter soon!

Lucius? Think? Whatever are you takling about? ;-)

Congrats on your sister's graduation and her award!
This was an interesting chapter.......it seems that you are forging a path for Draco to return to who he was, but I am guessing that the road will be pretty circuitous. I am having a deja vu moment with the globe.......without going back into past books, I remember that Draco had received a globe that turned out to be cursed by his father......but this can't be the same globe......wouldn't Harry or Hermione have recognized it? Maybe I'm getting two different stories mixed up......sorry, confused. Of course I will be looking forward to the next chapter!

Anne B. Walsh replied:
You are correct, this isn't the same globe... you shall see what it is or does! Think about why Ron would liken it to the Weasleys' car... what's the most important spell on there?

Congratulations to your sister! Has she decided on a college?
*insert plug for Taylor University, Indiana Wesleyan University, USAFA, and saving money on a the first year or so via community college on behalf of my sister, most of my family, the rest of my family, and me in that order
Since my favorite fic is Be Careful, obviously I like the connections in this chapter. Also, love that Peter is becoming a good character, and I hope that that is Remus in disguise (not Draco fracturing a bit creepily), though wouldn't that be against the whole "stay inside, Remus" security line? The snowglobe is confusing, but yay for mysteries I know you'll solve! I'm hoping that the Luna and Draco lines aren't going to get too close to a "wait, wait, don't kill me!" intersection, but as long as there isn't any actual death, it'll be fine.
By the way, I didn't end up reviewing the last chapter because I tried more than once and dissembled into ranting and raving at my computer each time. I am not okay with suicide. Why is no one talking to Fred about it?
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yes, she's off to one about an hour from me. I moved away from my family for a reason and now they're all following me... and Fred's not actually going to go out and kill himself, but the problem is that with George's death, he's lost most of his native caution -- he won't seek death, but he won't avoid it either. In terms of Alice Longbottom's rules, he still has 1 and 2 at the top of his list, but 3 has dropped off...

Ha! Fox is Draco's form name, but how can he have independent existence, enough to sit on the bed next to Draco and touch him? Nice chapter, thank you.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Double-check the second-to-last line... it's a dreamscape.

So, So, SO WONDERFUL Lady Anne!!! I first started reading your fiction about 4 or so years ago when I was in college and I ended up stopping when Sanctuary was first being made. I have now spent the past weeks re-reading Dangerverse and am finally caught up! Just as AMAZING as it was when I first read it! Actually, perhaps more so!! Plenty of tear jerking moments too, especially lately. However, that's not too terrible. After all, it is a war and there can't always be happiness. There has to be loss as well.
I know you can't say, but I've been thinking this for a long while now and have to share it with you. Please, please , PLEASE tell me you're not really going to kill Draco off?! That it's just a vision that Luna had to see in order to make future events unfold so that the war can be won sooner rather than later?! I dunno how you would avoid it not coming true since, as Hermione said, all of Luna's visions have been true so far, but there must be some way, right?! Couldn't the Founders Draco and Luna talked to just be saying that it is for the same reason?! I mean in cannon the main, main characters (Harry, Ron, Hermione) all lived after all! *Sighs* As you can see, that vision has left me terribly heart broken since you revealed it. =(
Not to mention the absolutely terrible thing Lucius has done! I'm so outraged by that, though it doesn't really surprise me. I just hope that whatever Albus has planned works. I really and truly don't like Draco not being with the Pack and Pride like he's meant to be. I am glad that he's protected though. Like a previous reviewer, I wonder who Fox could be. It could indeed be Remus, but wouldn't Draco recognize him? Unless he has an appearance altering spell in place like they all used back in LwD when they were all in hiding. *Shrugs* I do hope we find out soon, nonethless.
Oh! And I also wanted to say that I'm liking how you're writing out Peter's story and how he's seeming to change sides. I do like knowing that he's getting a better turn at things after all these years. The Pack can't rightly forget everything he's done, but wouldn't it be nice for them to forgive him for helping them get their Fox back somehow?
Well I do believe I've carried on quite enough for one review (I do apologize for the length, but it couldn't be helped since I've been silent for so long -_-) so I'm gonna go, for now. ^_~ I'll keep close tabs on my email to see your next update. Thank you again for writing such an AMAZING and WONDERFUL story!!! I tell all my friends that like Harry Potter that I prefer your story to cannon. I LOVE knowing that Harry has a family and more than just three close people to him! Take care, Lady Anne, and thanks again for sharing your AWESOME work with the rest of the world!!! =)
P.S. Congrats for your sister for graduating and receiving that medallion (and no, I'm not surprised by that at all). ^_^
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Excuse me while I blush massively. As for Draco... well, if I told you, things wouldn't happen right, now would they?

Why do I suspect this is but the calm before the storm? Maybe because I've read all the previous chapters you have gifted us and I know how you work now ;-)
Yes, Fox does seem a little familiar, does he not?
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Mwahahahaha. That is all.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer over the "nurture vs nature" 13 years of Pack life makes a pretty powerful impression. I just reread chapter 15 of SD and was wondering when the book of Wizarding geneology was first mentioned. You know, the one that leads me to believe that Moony is from the line of Beauvoi, which would make him an ancestor, which in turn would mean that Malfoy manor would recognize his right to be there.
And now Hermoine is helping Luna with the Imprimatus potion; I am much more hopeful about the future, although I don't think all the Bad Things are over. The globe is interesting; it makes me think that it needs one of each of the Heirs to touch it at the same time. Of course, that means that they need the Heir of Slytherin to find them.
One last question: you mentioned that SD chapters 1-27 (or so) might be available soon? I have finished my reread of everything except SD and was hoping to do so in a more hands on format (I think better that way).
LOVE your stories, even if they make my brain hurt in the most delicious of ways!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yes, it definitely does. The Wizarding genealogy book first comes up in Chapter 5 of SD. It's taking me a little while to get that template filled in, but yes, paperback SD part 1 is coming!

Great interlude with explanation and clarification. How long before Draco Malfoy starts becoming Draco Black again? I don't expect it will take all that long. Nurture tends to overwhelm nature most of the time, especially when the will aligns. Thank you for your hard work!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Ah, but are you asking the right question?
