That was really good. I have to say my heart nearly stoped when Lestrange demanded names off Severus. I wasn't sure what he would do. I did not expect Deans name at all, though I guess his family is one of the better protected thanks to Kreacher.
The scene with the lion was really sweet though I would have thought Harry would give it to Hermione not Megan.
Percy is being awesome. Can't wait to see what Scrimgrouch will say now that his life has been saved by vigilantes. I am sure it will be interesting.
So the great move to Sanctuary has begun. We will finally see it used. Still laughting about the koy pond. It is a really funny but ingenious way to keep prisoners. Once the war is over they can always transfigure them back and try them for their crimes. Great.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Oh, Severus is an old hand at playing each side against the other. Meghan gets the lion because Hermione got Draco's wand. Yep, the emptying of the koi pond will be rather epic.

Fantastic! It feels like it's been a long time, but it was definitely worth the wait :) I wonder what it is that Meghan's discovered about Dumbledore's tomb? And maybe the fact that she has phoenix tears in her dagger will make her "powers or cause" decision easier (I'm sure she's the one the raven will aid, after the snippets you posted on FB the other day). The conga dancing file cabinets were a stroke of genius, and it was nice to see Kreacher's slightly feral loyalty to his new family. I feel like Hermione might be missing something, though...what exactly is it that she wants to put in her dagger? So many questions; I guess I'll just have to hang on for the ride.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yeah, Kreacher's scary even when he's on your side.

"Twisted Canon" indeed. I love the way you entwine so many strands together, to the point where I think I can see where some of it is going, but will not be surprised in the least if I turn out to be wrong.
I am slightly worried that Neenie might be working at cross-purposes with a certain person (or persons), but I have faith that you will work it out OK in the end.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Don't worry too much. Neenie's got things under control.

A pissed off Hermione is a fantastic sight in my head. Warrior Goddess :) Good on Percy and the Shepard's and good on Peter for working on his redemption. I generally prefer my little sisters grilled with a nice salad :)
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yes. You do not mess with her. Mmmm, salad...

Like! A bunch! Wonder what Peter noticed and who he thinks should handle it...
People with more wit than hair... "Grumpy" would definitely fit that category.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Oh wouldn't he just. Even with all the hair he's got...

Here we go, looking forward to a wild ride. :) It's nice to see Percy taking charge. Looking forward to more!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yeah, I always felt Percy had more potential than JKR had room to explore.
