I did rather like this particular Easter Egg, so I'm happy to see it continued. I imagine this is like "Maybe" and indeed all your other AU stories in that there's going to be some clue as to the end of mainstream DV—which we will miss at this time and collectively facepalm later on when we realise how obvious it should have been ^_^

At the same time, I'm recalling another "Mal" and wondering how he's getting on…
