This would be a fantastic AU to continue--especially since you seem to already have some of the plot in your head, I vote you tell us what happens (or, you know, make it as long as Be Careful...or all of the Dangerverse; I'm open to having as many masterpieces for rainy days as you're willing to give us).

This is great. Iwould love to see glimpses of the future but it also stands as a one-shot. I would love to know if anybody ever finds out and what they would do. what would dumby do? and voldemort? so many questions.

By canon, sirius isn't dead. Dumbledore did not seek Remus out until 3rd year when Sirius escaped. So without Harry or Sirius, Remus and Harry would live out their lives until Moldyshorts tried to gain control of, or destroy, the werewolves.

A very nice and poignant story as it stands, but it definitely cries out for sequels or more chapters looking at what happens after this, particularly when certain meddlesome types find they can't locate Harry. Methinks 'twould be interesting to see who harry later befriends when he encounters folk from Hogwarts.

Very strange... and quite honestly I don't or can't imagine where it would do any better in more than a one-shot. Your premise that the spell was permanent fairly well limited any future story. I personally am not a fan of the Lupin character.
