Sad, yes, but nice at the same time. An interesting approach to recounting the final battle.

Argh. I read this before finishing Living with Danger, so now when I'm reading the rest of the story I'm going to be sad, thinking about them being dead : (
Fantastic story, though.

You're just not allowed to end the story this way *sniffle*.

As usual, this was brilliant. Depressing as all hell, but brilliant. I hope this is just an experiment in angst and not a new trend.

If they all ever had to die, I think that is the one way i would be okay with it. But please dont kill of the pack and pride in the real story....if I cried this much over a one shot, I dont want to think how much id cry over the realy story. Great story though!

BYOT indeed. I had to use a napkin.
Now that this is out of your system, may I hope that the real ending of the series will be a bit more upbeat? Please?

The most tragic sort of story is when the hero dies while winning the war, in essence making the victory empty. While you write extaordinarily well, I sometimes wish that you would do other than pyrhhic victories. The closest tha tI have seen is when the Hogwarts founders let Danger stay alive.
Thanks for your effort, but I really would like a happy ending at some point, as long as you do not stop writing
warm regards

Sweet misery! Happy Ending! But sweet sad that all that worked so hard did not "live" to see the dream come true. A fitting tribute to the marauders and friends! A white memorial is more appropriate for the warriors of the "light"! Thanks for writing. pms

Whoa!! That was a "kick-ass" short piece, there. Sad without being at all dark.
