Fascinating. I know I've been silent for ages - but I am still alive!

This is a fascinating beginning, although I suspect I've missed an earlier story... which may mean I have to go back and read through the stories. What hardship!

Btw, I graduated yesterday. How cool is that?

Lol, Tanydwr

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Congrats on graduating! And I see you found The Point of No Return so I don't need to point you at it.

I like it... and now... I'll go and read "Point of No Return"... :)
I really liked the part when Petunia was almost hysterical because she couldn't find the child and even searched the kitchen cabinets^^

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yes, Petunia does tend to go hysterical over things.

This could stand on its own, definitely, but the writing is so tight and clean that it seems a shame to leave it here.

Whatever your choice, thank you for an alternative view of Harry and his family. Beautifully conceived, and elegantly written.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Thank you, and I think it may well continue, but after I get a few other things written.

GOD YES PLEASE do continue in this universe. Snape as Lily's brother? And as Draco's dad? LOVE. <3

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Well, as Daniel's dad. There may still be a Draco... or someone with a similarly horrible first name and last name of Malfoy...

I like this story very much and would enjoy more about Russell Evans and Harry's new life. As usual any thing that you write is well conceved. very well written and extremely easy to read. Thank you for this posting. Carol Layland>clayva10@yahoo.com.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

More about Russell and Harry will probably be forthcoming at some point.

I definitely think you should pursue this 'verse. This is the first time I have ever read about Harry having an uncle that came and saved him from durance vile at the Dursleys. I have always enjoyed your stories, believing them to be well-written and thought out fiction. I also think that you write well enough that you should be an author of your own original fiction, but hey, can't have everything, can I? LoL! Anyway, I eagerly await the next chapters in BC and FD! Keep on rolling, my friend! Cheers!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I do indeed write originals. Check out www.thousandbookchallenge.com !

Enjoyed it would like to see more though. Find out more abut Russell S Evans.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

If you work out what the S stands for, you'll be further along...

Interesting.

This one is almost begging for a sequel or another chapter.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

If/when the sequel comes, it will be multi-chapter.

This is great little one-shot. As you say, it could be a good bridge into an AU following on from Point of No Return. I would certainly enjoy that, but do hope that you might have chance to update some of your other work first! Apart from FD and BC my main plea is for more LSSR and Roman a Clef...Pretty please...

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yeah... they're in the back of my head but they just don't wanna come out... BC is getting done first though.
