I only found saw this story yesterday. hile at first the timeskips confused me, they now make sence. Really love your Dangerverse characters. I am glad that in this story Narcissa was allowed to find happiness. What happened to her in the Main-Dangerverse always made me sad.

Oh, well cast indeed! How nice to see some cooperation between those who ought to be on the same side. I could never fathom how Severus could be so cruel to the boy he had apparently pledged his life to protect: how long would Harry have survived if he had indeed been expelled as Severus kept insisting? I suppose folks will say he had faith in Dumbledore stepping in to forestall any disaster, but that didn't save Harry from Dolores and her Blood Quill, did it?
But enough of such maudlin talk: the game is afoot ^_^

I just finished reading "He Nearly Killed the Cat" again, and I'm starting to have a sneaking suspicion here... Is this what would have happened if that early intervention had happened for real? As I'm sure I've said before, this is one of the things I like the most about your writing, how you find a way to connect even the most unlikely of your story to one another. The outcames are always incredibly interesting to read... Looking forward to more of this!

I did rather like this particular Easter Egg, so I'm happy to see it continued. I imagine this is like "Maybe" and indeed all your other AU stories in that there's going to be some clue as to the end of mainstream DV—which we will miss at this time and collectively facepalm later on when we realise how obvious it should have been ^_^
At the same time, I'm recalling another "Mal" and wondering how he's getting on…
