Just wonderful, what a way for Harry to be introduced to Draco, Hermione, and of course...Sirius. Harry and his sister are going to be in all kinds of trouble with Remus and their mom. If Harry is still capable of magic in this form, it would be a great time for it to manifest. How was Harry able to speak with Draco when Albus had to take a potion to be able to do so?

Oh dear, things are really swinging into gear now. Hope they manage to pull together! I'm sure they will, and Sirius is all set to come in at an opportune moment. Enjoy your holidays!

The thick is plottening ^_^

That was awesome. I never expected Draco or Herminoe to play any role in this fic at all. That is awesome. Very nicely done and a great way to get Sirius into the forest without Dubledore saying anything.

Ashtail is cute and just like Grasseye, always jumping into situations without thinking. Looking very forward to seeing where this is going.

Very nicely done! I enjoy the young wolves' fascination with the fire-bird, and Ashtail's bouncy demeanour. Albus's mode of communication is interesting, and those last words will definitely have an impact on Moonfur - I'm looking forward to his further reaction.

Very much looking forward to how Sirius reacts to Moonfur's...alterations. I really enjoy the tone of this story and how we get to see the magical world from the wolves' perspectives. We get snippets of it in the main Dangerverse but this full immersion, so to speak, is very interesting and well-executed :) But how will Voldemort be dealt with, in a world where Harry's lost his human form? If you do make this a longer story, I gotta say, I'm really looking forward to finding out the answer to that question...

Yay. More wolves. Really love this and can't wait for the reunion of Sirius and Moonfur. That should prove entertaining.

Oh boy, the past is catching up with the present for Remus and Harry. I wonder what the meeting with Sirius will go down like? What is Harry learning and able to do from the Centaur teachings? The spell of binding may not be reversible permanently, but I wonder if it would be temporarily undone using a potion like polyjuice?

This is so sweet: I love your new characters, especially little Ashtail. I would assume that at some point at least Harry will reassume two-legged form: I wonder what she and her mum will look like if they do so as well.

Are we likely to see our other favourite young people in this story? It's not at all obvious how long it will take things to be resolved, this is a whole new framework which could either run and run (like mainstream DV) or come to a head quickly (like "Raven"). Either way i look forward to your usual innovative and exciting approach ;-)

Ah, we add Dumbledore and Fawkes to the mix. Still most excellent - I particularly like the gentle tone of it all.

Very interesting developments. So, Albus knows that Moonfur is Remus and has guessed who Grasseyes is. I'm figuring that the 4 words were, "Sirius Black is alive." Might Sirius find out about his godson and neice next chapter? Hope so. I also think you have something up your sleeve to get Harry back. Pseudo-animagus maybe? Can't wait to find out! ^_^

Wow, really like the chapter. This is a very interesting universe, a brilliant idea. I feel sorry for Sirius. He must be really lonely. His mental image of centaur Harry is not that far off. The idea made me laugh.

I love how this is developing! Also I am very excited for killdeer, it is my favorite of your originals. Can't wait to see how it is all going to progress.

Sirius is closer than he realizes to the truth, isn't he? Glad to see Sirius in better case than he was in canon. And I like Grasseye/Harry and his teacher, too. I'm increasingly reminded of Mowgli, though in this case he really IS a wolfcub. :)

Thanks for the centaurs - I'd like to see more of them.

Oh my! Poor Sirius. Things are looking a bit different from DV, but you do manage to get your own characters in there, which is one of the things I love about your writing. Sirius was a little too close to home with the centaur line of thinking... I wonder what his reaction will be when he finds out what Remus did to Harry and himself. I also wonder what Harry's reaction will be when he sees a human flying a broom for the first time. All in all, looking like a very interesting story, as yours always are. Until next time!

...

Of course, I am now going to blame you for the insanity caused by my mind worrying away at the question of who "Redmount and Bees-hum" might be...

Bee's hum is clearly Dumbledore (that is the etymology of his name, after all). Redmount, by association, is probably Fawkes.

I have to say I like this story so far. You say you don't intend to make this a long story like Be Careful ? Wasn't the entire Dangerverse only supposed to be about 10 chapters long? Regardless of how long the story winds up being, I'll certainly enjoy reading more of it.

Thank you for continuing this - the wolves are great. Looking forward to seeing what the centaurs teach. And I wonder just who that is on the castle tower; I can think of several possibilities though I suppose Peter or Sirius is the most likely. This shows quite as much potential as Be Careful did, and it's a favorite of mine. (And not just because it introduced me to Rascal Flatts' Bless the Broken Road . :) )

You write well.

A very interesting story. I'm glad you decided to continue it.

I have to say, this is easily one of the most interesting and truly intruiging premises I have ever read in a HP fanfic. I've read Harry as a werewolf and Harry as a vampire and such, but never have I read Harry as a full on wolf (wise wolf). The idea is really quite good. I find myself wondering where you might take this. Might Grasseye be able to practive magic still? Might Ashtail find some way to become a twoleg or perhaps find a way to change from wolf to twoleg on a whim (such as the Lykans of Underworld fame)? The possibilities in this realm seem endless at this point. You could take this down so many different roads and they all seem to be just as interesting. Will Sirius ever figure out what Moony has done and take the plunge himself so to speak? Would he be angry and hate Moony, or would he understand that this is really the safest life for Harry?

I really look forward to seeing where you decide to take this from here. It should be an interesting ride no matter what direction you go in. I respect your decision for short chapters even if I find myself wishing they were longer. Keep up the awesome work.
