I did (kind of) figure out that their deaths were staged, but couldn't figure out how. Anyway, great ending, as usual, and interesting way to off Moldie. Kudos!

*giggles madly* Tricksy and tricked. But more fun that way!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yes, I am a tricksy author and I love it!

Alright, that was an acceptable ending. As usual you manage to the the cat hissing and spitting out of the bag and fool everyone, but then they really did die in the original which is what made it so believeable. Still, it really was quite ingenious that you had Draco pull one out on dear old Voldy and Lucky-yucky by using the manor against them.

Ok, now I can do my happy dance.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I'm not averse to writing stories where they really die, but this kind of insane nastiness generally means I've got something else going on. Thank you for the nice compliments!

Loved the story, as a bit strange, but good none the less, love the pack. Keep up the great work.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Strange is what I do. Great work--will do!

WOW! That was amazing, do I send cookies or something?

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Reviews do just fine.

cool, i wasnt expecting this.
go draco!
kinda hilarious how voldie gets scared to death.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Thanks. I'd been sitting on that image for quite a while and am glad to finally use it.

Well, I won't say that I didn't enjoy this chapter. But I definitely feel this should have ended at the previous chapter. It was refreshing to read a 'Kill 'em All' Dangerverse fic, while knowing that it doesn't spill over into FD.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Hey, I warned you.

bookaholic_au posted a comment on Saturday 12th September 2009 7:54pm

ooh, CLEVER, I didn't think of that. Great twist!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Much thanks. I had fun thinking it up and writing it!

Alright, it is official. I worship you. Oh, and Harry? *Rubs forefinger across thumb* Here's the world's smallest violin, playing just for you. Anne, you're my hero. Going from Angst to anti-angst in five chapters should not be possible, yet you managed it perfectly. Well done, and I can't wait to see what happens next in FD.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Hey, he got over it, didn't he?

carolebear posted a comment on Saturday 12th September 2009 3:24pm

Ah, now I understand. *nods sagely* Of course I didn't figure it out, but of course all the clues were there, especially in light of the fact that I just read the last couple of chapters of BC, which reminded us of what Draco could do at Malfoy manor. So were they still at Malfoy manor?

And you never really explained how Voldemort managed to capture all of them at once. (Although it doesn't really matter, since this was just an exercise in misdirection, wasn't it?)

Great little story - I only hope that the other two stories can be resolved with as little loss of life (on the part of the good guys at least).

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I didn't think it was terribly important to the story to explain how they got there, just that they were there. About the other stories... I'll see what I can do.

excellent as always.
i know hes evil and all, but ive always thought of voldie as slightly comical.
i suppose thats the mark of a good villain.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Anybody is comical hanging upside down. But I know what you're saying.

I try.

This is based on canon, which in turn was based upon a totally screwed up view of relations. Hermione wasn't masochist enough to fall for an obviously abusive Draco-light that will be moRon forever; the constant little and the major betrayals he committed would have turned any friendship Harry and Hermione had for the Ginger Git into contempt, if not active hatred.
Neither would trust him at their backs as that would have been too tempting a target for moRon to resist.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I never saw Ron as committing betrayals in canon. Making mistakes, yes, but he made up for them later. If you're committed to Ron-bashing, I suggest you stop reading my work now, since it will only make both of us unhappy. Thank you for your input and have a very nice day.

Something to do with a heart attack? I love you, Anne, and I'm sorry for all the nasty things I said about the angsty chapters. Wherever they are, may pack and pride live happily ever after, just as it is supposed bo be. This beauty may well still turn into one of the type of fic I believe in.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Hmm. Maybe. And no apology needed--I wrote them to be horrible.

LynnTerald posted a comment on Friday 11th September 2009 7:06pm

They are in the Founder's castle. In the dream scape. I think they're still alive and quite possibly being held in a dream scape.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

You're right on one bit...

Aaarrrggghhh! I can't deal with any more clues. I get so frustrated with you sometimes, woman! I've told you before that I'm absolute crap at them! I'll just wait then, and nod my head when you lay it all out for us in the last (?) chapter.

On another note, I LOVED the wake-up call Harry used on Voldy!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yes, next chapter will be the last. And I amused myself with that...

Lets have one more...."May I have another?"

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yes, Master Twist, you may. (I know, I know, it's not from that but it seems to fit)
