So i guess the three mini mons (Bernie, Echo & Cissus) will be the ones to bring Kreacher around to the good side.
Update soon. Love the story.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
They'll start it, at any rate.

Bad Things from the Evil Author. (and yes, the capital letters ARE required.) What else could we ask for?
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Capital letters are fun. And how about even more updates, soon?

Yay for an update! Boohiss for having to be ambivalent about the *next* chapter, instead of enthused and eager. Ah well, I guess the story wouldn't be exciting unless some bad stuff happened once in a while. (Please note that I can be philosophical about the bad stuff *now*, when I don't know what it is yet. I doubt I shall be so at ease with the events in question after they have occurred. Fickle, that's me.)
For some reason, I am just enchanted with the image of Neenie-cat swatting Ron on the nose. That's a giggle and an "Awwww" all in one. And go George for picking a girl with sense *and* romance. Hey, it was a little unclear, did George know about the song ahead of time? Or had he just been waiting on the outfit, and the music was Extra Bonus Disney? Glad to see Echo and Cissus again.
Eeek, plot!
I guess I better wind this up, the thunder is getting louder and I don't want to lose it if the power goes. Thanks for writing!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
I agree, you will definitely not be at ease with what's going to happen. Neenie is a forgiving kitteh but there is a limit to how much noise she's willing to tolerate right next to her ears. George just went for the outfit--Fred and Lee arranged to have the Pride serenade him. Good luck weathering the storm!

NOOOOOOOOOO! BAD THINGS!!!! I hate Bad Things, have i made that clear? Oh it's not like my protest really matter, your going to do Bad Things no matter what aren't you? And way to just leave me hanging with this chapter "How come Kreacher says it's his fault his Master Regulus died?" I'm not even going o ask if you take plesure in endings like this I knowyou do
Anne B. Walsh replied:
I know you hate Bad Things. Everybody hates Bad Things. Why do you think I do them? Mwahahahaha.

Some days I just feel so dumb. When I opened the chapter I immediately clicked back to the previous chapter so that I could refresh my memory on what was happening. And then I got called away from the computer for a few minutes. When I came back in I read the chapter, thinking to myself that it seemed almost familiar, and I was predicting what was going to happen. I was going to send you a review that I thought you had posted this chapter before, and the I realized what had happened. So I thought I would tell you about my stupidity so you could laugh at me too (cause authors need to know that sometimes we are total and complete doofuses). Was that better than the face-keyboarding that you expected?
So, about THIS chapter. Hmmm. I started out worrying about the 'ambushers,' but I relaxed the moment the first line of the music appeared. Really cute idea, btw. And Crystal seems to have taken it rather well. I'm glad she was able to help Maya, too.
And now I'm wondering what Kreacher is talking about. And when did Regulus die? Was it a long time ago, before the Pack? (I'm pretty sure it was, if that part was canon.)
*whimpers* Is that last line supposed to make us feel better? If it does, you really suck in the reassurance department. *sigh* But you wouldn't be you if Bad Things didn't happen. This is a war, after all. And you are already planning on letting Draco die, so why should putting our main characters in danger (Sorry about the pun - it really was unintentional) bother you? I rest my case.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Hey, dumbness happens to us all. I wrote half a chapter once before I realized I was using character names from the wrong fandom. Kreacher's story about Regulus is totally canon--it's how the locket Horcrux got to Grimmauld place, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione find it out in DH. Of course it wasn't meant to be reassurance! I am an evil author!

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so thrilled to see this in my inbox today!!!!!!!!!
I love Crystal, she's perfect for George!!!
And that last bit!! Sirius gets to find out that his brother wasn't a prat after all!!!
More soon please!!!!!!!!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Crystal is a lot of fun to write. And yes, Sirius will find that out... but it won't be easy for him. He'll have to admit he was wrong, and he hates being wrong.

*GASP!* Youre alive...
Brilliant to see a new chap... But I agree with the first reviewer.. I'll have to go back and re-read this fic.... :)
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yes, alive and somewhat ashamed... but hey, rereading the story, how awful for you.

Great to see a new chapter of this story! I'll admit I was a little put off by the fact that the entire first half of the chapter seemed to have degenerated into a songfic, but then actual plot development happened in the second half and all was right with the world. *GRIN*
I'm going to have to go back and re-read some of the earlier chapters, because I was lost as to who a couple of the characters were.

Every so often I just feel the need for song. I try not to let it take over the actual story, though. And how about I try to write the next chapter in time for you to remember who everybody is, huh? *eyeroll at self*

Aack! I've reached the end of a chapter and there's NOTHING MORE to read! I hate when that happens.
Please update soon!

Nice. A very appropriate gift for Cho.
I haven't been bothering to review before now because almost nobody bothers to go back and re-edit their concluded "books".
I must say that I have been enjoying your Danger series quite a bit. They are all well written and refreshingly free of grammar and spelling errors. (YAAAY!!!!)
The only plot point I can think to mention here is the prevalent awareness of Christianity in a culture that would have shunned the religion out of self defense. (nobody wants to be burned at the stake, or told that they are going to hell because they were born magical!)
It's understandable among muggle born, but seems to be likely to be rejected with even greater vehemence by those who are aware of it, than by the purebloods who would never even bother to learn about the foolish religion of those muggle animals.
Any way, I love this universe, and have been enjoying it greatly.
Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us!

<i>Anyone care to lay bets on Umbridge vs. Pride?</i>
Just finished rereading the whole thing to date. Anyway whilst passing through this point I noticed the cite and was strongly reminded of something I've always told my daughter - "If Authority wants to be respected, Authority has to be respectable." Now that I think of it, a very Pack-like attitude. :)

I do like Dangerverse, although I did have to read this story again (to remind me of the storyline), I did enjoy it.
Having Sirius and some Aurors 'test' Harry and the DA was quite ingenious and clever. I wouldn't like to be Sirius when the other 'adult' pack members find out he was beaten by 'teens'.
Please update soon as I am eagerly awaiting the next part of this wonderful story.

Hot werewolves? XD
This is lovely stuff, as always. COMPLETELY worth rereading the whole DV from start.
...did you ever do that file of Joseph? I don't remember it.

This was a wonderful way to end year 5. I have to say I'm very happy you are seeing this story through. I absolutely love the Dangerverse, and I am terribly eager to know what happens next. These stories hold the same appeal as the actual books, and with years 6 and 7, even more than the originals. Thank you for these!

I've been waiting for an update to this story! The other is okay, this series rocks! And yes, I'm too old to use that term ... LOL!

I was going to start from here to redo from start to catch up to the new chapter, but reading this just makes me want to do it ALL over again.
