I absolutely LOVE the 30 pieces of silver reference for the revenge on Cho. I hope there is more to this necklace. On the whole a great chapter. I'm very curious about Amanda and her companion and their part with the Pride.

Please keep writing. It's encouraging to me on my own writing project.

Oh marvelous, I absolutely love the 30 pieces of silver reference to Cho selling them out. Keep up the good work on this wonderful series.

Well well well, I love this story but almost gave up on it. When I have to re-read a few previous chapters to figure out what is going on I get irritated because I feel like I am missing something. I will have to go back an read from the beginning but I won't until I'm sure that you are committed to finishing this. As always a great read to a great story but please.... update just a little sooner??? Pretty Please?

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Tell you what, we'll switch places. You can have my irritating job, my lousy paycheck, my insane friends, and my fickle muse. I'll bug you for updates. How's that sound?

No hard feelings, truly, but I update as quickly as I can. I am committed to finishing this story. Life is just making it hard at the moment.

This is a great chapter. I really like the way that Harry dealt with cho. It made a deffinite statement without harming her. 30 pieces of silver indeed. It looks like the Purebloods are about to get a lesson from Moldy Shorts that will tell them something about his character. I really hope it backfires on him. It is really great that Harry and Ginny are doing so well with each other. At least Ginny can tell Harry when he is wrong or headed the wrong direction. I really like the different pairings. Meghan and Neville are great. It is times like this point in their developement that I'm reminded how young she is. Remus and Danger are great. They really show the mature relationship at its best. I look forward to more of this story. Thanks for writing. pms

Binns gets the boot - yay! (About time, too...)

I love how you write dialogue that is both elegant and realistic. How at the same time you manage to convey such warmth and depth of emotion. How your characters tell each other "I love you" in every gesture that they make.

Thank you for providing many wonderful, positive role models for relationships in your story. You don't see that often, and it's a downright shame. Many people don't know what it is that they're missing out on - and never find out.

I think I'm addicted to your writing. I've stuck with you for more than 150 chapters of quality drama, romance, and action/adventure.

I'll be going off to college this fall - being a senior in high school right now. I hope to meet people who share with you the essential kindness that permeates your stories.

Definitely more refined. It took me a few seconds to work it out, but the Judas reference is perfect. Too perfect, in fact. I just hope it doesn't happen the same way. I'd like to think Cho is redeemable, and if she goes and hangs herself like he did, then there's no chance for her to be saved. Well done, I liked it a lot.

Exciting stuff! I can't wait for more. I especially like the bit with Ginny's evil twin. And I loved the Cho part.

Oh boy. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Things are really getting started, aren't they? At Hogwarts, at the
Den... To be honest, I thought Dumbledore would rreplace Trelawney with Danger, but she DID have some prophecies... Didn't even realize there still was History of Magic :P
I love the Luna/Amanda competition, and the Amanda/Hestia connection, though it isn't quite clear (yet) whether it is a connection or simple a comparison. Maybe Hestia is a someone special, with special talents. Well, I'll find out soon enough anyway :D

Can't wait (or just barely) for the next one!

Thx for writing FD, and the entire Danger-universe,

Prongsie

Leave us hanging next time? This is terrible! Now I'm worrying NOW about the NEXT chapter's cliffhanger, when it hasn't even happened yet!

Good chapter though. Harry and Ginny are great, and I liked how you handled Cho too. I'm looking forward to the next roller coaster! Thanks for writing,
Jay

Yay for an update, and the scene between Danger and Remus. It's lovely to see their relationship. This is an amazing universe, and I'm so happy to have found it.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I enjoy writing them very much, so I'm glad you like reading them!

I wonder which of the Pride and friends were involved in creating that very neat piece of revenge...I think that's even better than "Sneak" in spots. Home to the Den for Christmas then - I hope you plan to update soon because I really want to see where this is going next!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I really enjoyed coming up with this one. Plus it's something more than what you see...

Very nice surprise to see a new chapter.. thanks Anne.
Not being Christian,I did not get the reference to the "30 silver coins for treason" until I googled it. You are right, it is more refined but remember you get readers from all over the world - some details may be obscure for us..:)

Anne B. Walsh replied:

JKR's Britain is nominally Christian--there are Biblical quotations on gravestones and so forth--so I figured it wouldn't be completely out of order. For the readers... hey, like you said, that's why God invented Google!

Silly Remus thats almost as bad as saying that's the worst thing that can happen...

Love the necklace oh yeah don't mess with the DA, they will torch your world :)

now if I could just figure out the whole Amanda/Hestia thing...twins maybe...one that never got born...

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Oh, Amanda and Hestia's stories will be told eventually. Don't hold your breath, though. It's going to take a while.

Deborahsu posted a comment on Sunday 4th May 2008 1:09am

Ok, cranking your motor! LOL!!! I do love your stories. I don't always review, and for that I apologize. I'm drawn into the Danger universe so easily that I really have no critique to offer, other than that I don't want to have to wait for the next chapter!

I will, of course, wait as long as it takes, and then greedily devour it when it arrives. :-)

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I don't insist on critique... praise is good too... :-)

kirk4ever posted a comment on Sunday 4th May 2008 1:05am

that is brilliant - but would Cho have got it?

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Judging by her reaction, she did.
