Selena and Rogers concieving Zach in Snape's office? Had me howling for three minutes straight.

Dean is a halfblood? Facinating! I wonder how this will affect the story-if it does at all.

And you've still got me curious about how you intend to incorporate Hermione's dream from when they were 14. Also, loved the 5th line of the new prophecy. Makes me hope for something a little better than just straight death for Fox. Whatever you have planned for Lucius, I hope that it is painful and inflicts more damage on him than he ever did for the Pack and Pride.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Dean's blood status will have only small effects on the story, but it's there. As for pain for Lucius... it's coming!

Congrats on your sister's graduation and her award!

This was an interesting chapter.......it seems that you are forging a path for Draco to return to who he was, but I am guessing that the road will be pretty circuitous. I am having a deja vu moment with the globe.......without going back into past books, I remember that Draco had received a globe that turned out to be cursed by his father......but this can't be the same globe......wouldn't Harry or Hermione have recognized it? Maybe I'm getting two different stories mixed up......sorry, confused. Of course I will be looking forward to the next chapter!

Erika

Anne B. Walsh replied:

You are correct, this isn't the same globe... you shall see what it is or does! Think about why Ron would liken it to the Weasleys' car... what's the most important spell on there?

Fell behind on reviews... Trying to catch up now...

Great chapter, I loved it that the ceremony was simple, and Draco was able to be there, if only in dream form... and giving the Resurrection stone to them like that? very sneaky... Hoping to see how that will play itself out!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

The fact of Dumbledore's giving it is also significant... you'll see why later!

Y'know, I'd forgotten all about that scene... Grin - I DO believe in fairies! :)

Who doesn't? :-)

Congratulations to your sister! Has she decided on a college?

*insert plug for Taylor University, Indiana Wesleyan University, USAFA, and saving money on a the first year or so via community college on behalf of my sister, most of my family, the rest of my family, and me in that order

Since my favorite fic is Be Careful, obviously I like the connections in this chapter. Also, love that Peter is becoming a good character, and I hope that that is Remus in disguise (not Draco fracturing a bit creepily), though wouldn't that be against the whole "stay inside, Remus" security line? The snowglobe is confusing, but yay for mysteries I know you'll solve! I'm hoping that the Luna and Draco lines aren't going to get too close to a "wait, wait, don't kill me!" intersection, but as long as there isn't any actual death, it'll be fine.

By the way, I didn't end up reviewing the last chapter because I tried more than once and dissembled into ranting and raving at my computer each time. I am not okay with suicide. Why is no one talking to Fred about it?

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yes, she's off to one about an hour from me. I moved away from my family for a reason and now they're all following me... and Fred's not actually going to go out and kill himself, but the problem is that with George's death, he's lost most of his native caution -- he won't seek death, but he won't avoid it either. In terms of Alice Longbottom's rules, he still has 1 and 2 at the top of his list, but 3 has dropped off...

Ha! Fox is Draco's form name, but how can he have independent existence, enough to sit on the bed next to Draco and touch him? Nice chapter, thank you.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Double-check the second-to-last line... it's a dreamscape.

My favorite part: Fox calming the little-boy Draco. :) Glad to see him back in action. Thank you for updating, It's a pleasure to read your work!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yes, wasn't that fun? More of it available now!

Love the story so far, can't wait for more :)

Just wanted to say that your Dangerverse series is one of the best fan-fics I've read, keep up the great work.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Thank you! I do try so it's nice to know I'm succeeding.

So, So, SO WONDERFUL Lady Anne!!! I first started reading your fiction about 4 or so years ago when I was in college and I ended up stopping when Sanctuary was first being made. I have now spent the past weeks re-reading Dangerverse and am finally caught up! Just as AMAZING as it was when I first read it! Actually, perhaps more so!! Plenty of tear jerking moments too, especially lately. However, that's not too terrible. After all, it is a war and there can't always be happiness. There has to be loss as well.

I know you can't say, but I've been thinking this for a long while now and have to share it with you. Please, please , PLEASE tell me you're not really going to kill Draco off?! That it's just a vision that Luna had to see in order to make future events unfold so that the war can be won sooner rather than later?! I dunno how you would avoid it not coming true since, as Hermione said, all of Luna's visions have been true so far, but there must be some way, right?! Couldn't the Founders Draco and Luna talked to just be saying that it is for the same reason?! I mean in cannon the main, main characters (Harry, Ron, Hermione) all lived after all! *Sighs* As you can see, that vision has left me terribly heart broken since you revealed it. =(

Not to mention the absolutely terrible thing Lucius has done! I'm so outraged by that, though it doesn't really surprise me. I just hope that whatever Albus has planned works. I really and truly don't like Draco not being with the Pack and Pride like he's meant to be. I am glad that he's protected though. Like a previous reviewer, I wonder who Fox could be. It could indeed be Remus, but wouldn't Draco recognize him? Unless he has an appearance altering spell in place like they all used back in LwD when they were all in hiding. *Shrugs* I do hope we find out soon, nonethless.

Oh! And I also wanted to say that I'm liking how you're writing out Peter's story and how he's seeming to change sides. I do like knowing that he's getting a better turn at things after all these years. The Pack can't rightly forget everything he's done, but wouldn't it be nice for them to forgive him for helping them get their Fox back somehow?

Well I do believe I've carried on quite enough for one review (I do apologize for the length, but it couldn't be helped since I've been silent for so long -_-) so I'm gonna go, for now. ^_~ I'll keep close tabs on my email to see your next update. Thank you again for writing such an AMAZING and WONDERFUL story!!! I tell all my friends that like Harry Potter that I prefer your story to cannon. I LOVE knowing that Harry has a family and more than just three close people to him! Take care, Lady Anne, and thanks again for sharing your AWESOME work with the rest of the world!!! =)

P.S. Congrats for your sister for graduating and receiving that medallion (and no, I'm not surprised by that at all). ^_^

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Excuse me while I blush massively. As for Draco... well, if I told you, things wouldn't happen right, now would they?

Phil Boswell posted a comment on Thursday 6th June 2013 12:22am

Why do I suspect this is but the calm before the storm? Maybe because I've read all the previous chapters you have gifted us and I know how you work now ;-)

Yes, Fox does seem a little familiar, does he not?

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Mwahahahaha. That is all.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer over the "nurture vs nature" 13 years of Pack life makes a pretty powerful impression. I just reread chapter 15 of SD and was wondering when the book of Wizarding geneology was first mentioned. You know, the one that leads me to believe that Moony is from the line of Beauvoi, which would make him an ancestor, which in turn would mean that Malfoy manor would recognize his right to be there.

And now Hermoine is helping Luna with the Imprimatus potion; I am much more hopeful about the future, although I don't think all the Bad Things are over. The globe is interesting; it makes me think that it needs one of each of the Heirs to touch it at the same time. Of course, that means that they need the Heir of Slytherin to find them.

One last question: you mentioned that SD chapters 1-27 (or so) might be available soon? I have finished my reread of everything except SD and was hoping to do so in a more hands on format (I think better that way).

LOVE your stories, even if they make my brain hurt in the most delicious of ways!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Yes, it definitely does. The Wizarding genealogy book first comes up in Chapter 5 of SD. It's taking me a little while to get that template filled in, but yes, paperback SD part 1 is coming!

Great interlude with explanation and clarification. How long before Draco Malfoy starts becoming Draco Black again? I don't expect it will take all that long. Nurture tends to overwhelm nature most of the time, especially when the will aligns. Thank you for your hard work!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Ah, but are you asking the right question?

Erika Shulkusky posted a comment on Tuesday 4th June 2013 3:24pm

OMG.......well this is a fine kettle of fish! Interesting concept about F & G being "mirror twins" but how sad that one cannot live without the other. Next chapter please!! (LOL, I know that you have lots of stuff going on, but we are literally hanging in midair!)

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Next chapter now. And one of the twins could have lived without the other... just not the way that it happened.

I will admit, finding out Draco would die was a reeeeeal turn off from this story for me. He...sort of makes this story for me. Harry and the others are awseome and totally believeable and I love how you twist canon into your stories, but Draco is...he's my favorite of your characters. Having Luna fortell his death was awful and I had to walk away from the story for about a year, but after having read a couple of your side stories a couple times I wasn't able to keep away from this thing anymore. So, I'm back. For better or for worse with Draco, I'm here to find out his fate as long as you keep updating.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Hang in there... I promise you, by the end of the story, you will not be sorry you came back!

Dumbledore is plotting again, it seems. I am curious to see what happens.

Also, nooo, Fred. :(

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Sadly, yes. But it will be a truly awesome send-off... remember, when in doubt...

Dangams posted a comment on Sunday 2nd June 2013 1:56pm

I'm alive! I loved Draco's sniping at Lucius, especially the comments about Malfoy virility. :D

But nooooo, mindtwisted Draco. :( Sadness.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

That part was great fun to write. Breathe deep, all will (eventually) be well...

Chapter ending: Oh shit! But it makes sense. More sense than what Rowling did with the twins.

But there's so much other good stuff in this chapter, including the clue that Draco will soon be returned to himself and to the Pack & Pride -- mentally even if not physically. Thank you for an excellent chapter.

The bit with Severus and Sirius: I'm still digesting that, trying to figure out whether it could have been told better. It seems a little elliptical. I'm guessing that's what you intended.

Anyway, thank you again.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Eh, Rowling's way makes sense too, as I paid tribute to in this chappie. George was always the more balanced of the two, so it makes sense he could go on alone. Fred was the go-getter, who needed George to bring him back to his center... but now he doesn't have that. As for the scene with Snape and Sirius, yeah, I was a tiny bit rushed through there... sorry!

triciaelbl posted a comment on Saturday 1st June 2013 5:03pm

Wow. So sad about Fred. How awful. Can't wait to see how it turns out with Fox and his mindwipe.

Great work!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

It is sad, but at the same time, they'll be together again. And our Fox is stronger than that... sneakier too...

Phil Boswell posted a comment on Saturday 1st June 2013 6:24am

When one considers the amount of sheer havoc that Fred is likely to be capable…the best thing those Death Eaters could possibly hope for is that they die before he gets to them.

I can almost look forward to reading about that: we're lucky to have an author of your quality in charge of documenting the carnage ;-)

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Oh, it is going to be awesome. Liberal use of the word "BOOM".

jua-chan posted a comment on Saturday 1st June 2013 4:46am

Noooooo! Not Fred too! That was so sad. And it makes such terrible sence. And I don't even know what else to say.

Good chapter with lots of foreboading. Poor Fred. Poor George. Hope there really is a way to get Draco back.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Hints about Draco in Chapter 30... go have a look!
