It figures. You give us the Final Battle, and we still get the Cliffhanger To End All Cliffhangers - and considering the cliffies you've left us with before, this is really saying something!

I just... yeah. I have no coherent thoughts any more.

Too...many...feels... I sobbed at their loved ones coming back. The Pack-parents' parents, and Narcissa, were especially wonderful. I think my favourite part, though, was Voldemort's temptation of Fox, and the Pack helping him to reject it. Wonderful.

I'll have to go look that up (or just wait until the Great Reread that will follow on my reading of the Epilogue), but what comes immediately to mind is a certain prestidigitation feat involving a rope supposedly cut in half and miraculously rejoined, which I've done myself on occasion... :)

As for the chapter... Yes!!!!!

OhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygod. Even after a second and third reread, I am still amazed at your story crafting skills. Is this the ridge or the tell? This one is more real to me now than canon. Even the rereads give me the fluttery feeling in my tummy when I am really, really nervous.

So now the question (at least to me) seems to be how Harry will return to the living world. Will he be offered the chance to return like he was in canon? (but Dumbledore is living, not dead - I didn't know that he and Snape were capable of astral projection, and were did they find the babies?) Or will he be offered this choice by the founders. Or was it all sleight of hand on Ginny's part? Harry believed that his cord was cut, he was willing to make the sacrifice, so the final Horcrux was destroyed. Maybe I need to go reread that part of DH. It was one of the few places in the story that gave me that fluttery feeling that you keep evoking.

Rabbit season!

Worth the wait? Oh yes indeed :-) Very sad about Colleen...but I feel like Blaise is strong enough to go on. And I loved the blood of wolves changing the game; I didn't see that coming at all, and it was fantastic to read! I also want to congratulate you on your depiction of Fox. You write his post-Manor trauma so realistically; whatever happens in the final battle, our boy still has a long fight ahead. Well done for not shying away from the consequences of such a scarring experience.

No complaints here - glad to get Fox and Danger and Mooney back, amusing myself with what Fred and George will likely be getting up to in the next world maybe with James, Peter, Fabien, Gideon and others. Sad to lose other people, but won't be sorry to see the back of Voldie at ALL. And finally, looking forward to rereading the entire Dangerverse series when we get to the end and looking for all the foreshadowing...

Whoa, this chapter is insane in a very good way. I'm still in shock, and now will even pay more attention during my re-read. So why was Colleen able to break through imperius, what was is in the command that allowed her to do that? Also Alex's g/f had the same bracelet as Colleen did, I wonder what the significance is. Also so sad you killed her, sniffle, but she did go out a hero. I guess harry did renounce his powers. Loved the sword duel. Now i'm just going to be sitting on the edge of my seat to figure out how you are going to finish it. I'm still too dense to figure out all the prophesies.

And we've finally lost Fred for good. He sure did go out in a blaze of glory, though; more than the wild fireworks I was kind of expecting. And he cost the Death Eaters dearly, taking out EIGHT of them and saving Sanctuary in the process. Now he and George are together again. Funny thought - what wpould happen if Fred and George decided to hang around Hogwarts? Who would win, them or Peeves?

And dear Colleen. She was truly a hero in her last moments; I'm glad Blaise has that to hang on to.

The familiar voice is Dumbledore? So where has he been hiding for all this time? And Harry is still the last Horcrux? Now we have to figure out how to get Voldie to kill it, or find another way. Two of the four terms of the bargain have now been met. We have another Heir to renounce his/her power and then Harry must placfe his fate in Ginny's hands. I look forward to seeing your vision for this.

Dammit! Nothing is ever easy is it? I love how well you planned all this crazy to match up.

Hello Anne, it's been a while.......have been busy so I "binge read" the last 4 chapters, OMG, what a lot has happened! I was wondering if/how you were going to bring Danger and Moony back and you did it! The whole story of Fox taking out Lucius, assuming his identity and keeping Luna with him while we all thought she was forever Lucius's victim but not actually, never saw THAT coming! That plot line was flawless. Was actually sad to see Wormtail's story end, but how satisfying it was to have him end with honor. Beautiful! So, I'm all caught up now and eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

Love the scene with Hermione and Remus! The Horcrux Viviens is the new deeper magic from the dawn of time :)

Congratulations, you made me cry on a train :') I loved the table breaking under Hermione, that was a great touch - and the explanation for certain early manifestations of certain Heir-like powers was slotted in very neatly too. This was definitely worth the wait - thanks, Anne!

Yessss! Take that, Voldy! I hoped of course but was not sure of anything. Can't wait for the showdown in the Forest now. Loved the catapult and the defences, especially what happened to Nott senior. Nice scene with Sangre too

Mind, when it got to the part...and you KNOW which I'm refering to....I stopped breathing...literally. Obviously fine now, but OMG. MOONY!

Huzzah! I'd pretty much guessed what was going to happen with that, but it's still nice to see. :-)
