Nice chapter^^
I think it's really cool that your Ron isn't so.... dumb(?) I think it's cool that he's able to notice so much.
And Draco in his Animagus form is absolutely cute (the scolding-part had me laugh so hard my belly started to hurt)
I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
Cye, Baltaine

Luke? you mean the origin of that name?
"Use the Force, Luke"
:)
And Ron, don't think to hard, it might hurt.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Well, that's a joking one, but there's a more serious reason. Which shall be explained in the new chapter I am about to post. And hey, be nice to Ron! He can think! Sometimes.

I feel like such a dweeb. What is this about Draco showing different faces? And Ron figuring it out? That's the problem with a story that had a large pause between the two main postings (January - 1 in March - then May to the present). I'm not faulting you here, but my memory is obviously crap.
I like the idea of Star Wars being the reason for choosing Luke, even though you have already said that this was not the primary reason. I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment - I'm so thrilled that your muse is speaking to you again!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
The thing about different faces was from a few chapters back, when Dean Thomas met "Reflection" and he looked like Hermione. That was Draco borrowing the looks of Ray for a few minutes so as not to have to go through the "I'm really on your side now" thing with Dean. And Ron's now met the new-and-improved Draco on two occasions and is fairly well convinced of him, though what he's figured out right now is the real identity of Luna's lap decoration.

hmmm... interesting
so ron has figured out draco's trick that will be interesting when draco shows his face again
and i may be completely wrong on this but when he chose the name luke was he trying to create a parralelle with starwars and luke skywalker?
that's the only thing i can think of
wonderful chapter as usual!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
The Luke Skywalker thing is amusing to him but not the primary reason. Good call, though!

Bellatrix had it coming.
Excellent chapter, as always.
I like that Draco had a face to face with Andromeda before he switched worlds.
She deserved to know that he's not the pureblood bastard she thought he'd be.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
And like she said earlier, he was the "saving" of her sister. He was the reason Narcissa knew how to love and did something unselfish in her life. So yeah, she likes him pretty well at this point.

"Except sometimes they are." ? Oh, really.... :)
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Well, what is the otherworld if not finding out what would have happened?

Rather exciting. I must admit, this is one of my favourite stories of yours. I'm really looking forward to where this is going.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Me too! (Though in my case it's more "I can't wait to show everybody".)

For those of you keeping score at home, there is a reason Hermione is so apparently unruffled by the loss of her wand hand.Neenie's ambidextrous? =D Can't wait to see!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
I think you're the third person to guess that so far. Nice try.

I actually got the update reminder in my e-mail today, even though I didn't get the last 7 or 8 of them until 3 days later. I've taken to checking the fanficauthors update page daily (or even more often just to be sure I don't wait too long. How pathetic is that? And I also read the other reviews and your replies before I send mine, because then I (hopefully) won't ask the same questions and can even ask yo questions about your responses.
I didn't expect Draco to come back with Andromeda and Luna, but I'm sure it will do him good to see that everyone is all right. About your response to HGRHfan35's review: the 'at least two who know who he is.' Of course Luna and Andromeda, but what about Ginny? Would Hermoine guess? And since she is not as upset about her wand hand as we thought she would be, I'll wager that it is either because Andromeda did some mind healing while she was asleep or because she is ambidextrous.
I think Harry will be very unhappy that he was kept out of this loop - I hope that he doesn't do something stupid.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
The emails have been a bit erratic, yes, sorry about that. Hermione does know who Draco is, and her relief is based on that. And yes, Harry will be a bit unhappy, but he'll get over it.
Ryan Illuser posted a comment on Wednesday 12th August 2009 11:05am
Yes, Yes, Yes! now we just have to bring Harry in on the secret, oh and someone should find out our favorite mongoose. If you do that by say tomarrow I will be one happy reader.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
I wish I could, but it isn't time for Harry to find out yet.
ClarenceRose posted a comment on Wednesday 12th August 2009 9:00am
Um.
Why Luke?
Isn't that a bit close to Lucius?
It seems odd to me that Draco'd pick a code name close to his father's...
Anne B. Walsh replied:
He'll explain his rationale in a future chapter, but basically this is his way of saying that he wants to keep some parts of his past life, not just throw it all away. Even his father had some good points. Deeply hidden, but they're there...
ClarenceRose posted a comment on Wednesday 12th August 2009 8:57am
Ha.
So they have the Draco talk, but without Harry.
Of course.
Someone made the point in a previous review about how the scene in the forest where Voldie kills Harry needs to change now that Narcissa's dead.
Agreed.
So does Draco get to do the honor?
I can't see anyone else lying about Harry's actually being alive.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yep--good catch!

Lines from "The Princess Bride" come to mind "There's one thing you don't know - I'm left handed!"
I expect that as usual Hermione knows something we don't.. or at least knows something we don't know she does. Or knows she doesn't know something we know we don't.. my head hurts....
Sticking around, youbetcha!
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Second option. You'll find out the same time Harry does.
HGRHfan35 posted a comment on Wednesday 12th August 2009 7:52am
The gang's together again.
Chatting about Malfoy and he's right there. LOL
I'm sticking around! But right now, I'm to tired to think. Just finished evening shift but I've also got the early morning one! yuk.
Thank you for brightening up my day ,though.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Oh argh. Get some sleep when you can. And yeah, it's amusing Draco no end that they're talking about him with him right there--at least two of them know who he is, too!

I for my part think Hermione is stil somehow in shock about the recent events... That'd explain why she is so calm.
I don't think they'll find out all too soon who "Luke" really is? Would be way too easy...
I'm looking forward to the next chapter - and the party...^^ Who knows? Perhaps you manage to update on my birthday? (Friday...) That would be ... AWESOME!
See ya, Baltaine
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Friday, I think I can manage. And no, Luke's identity is a secret for the next couple weeks at least. Hermione is a bit in shock, but she also knows something...
callie posted a comment on Wednesday 12th August 2009 12:26am
hehe they were talking about draco while he was in the room without knowing it!!!
good chapter as per usual
Anne B. Walsh replied:
This amuses him no end.

Oh wow, what a treat, I come back from holiday to seven (!) new chapters, I am so happy!! And what awesome chapters too. So glad we do actually get to meet Teddy properly, there is some considerable involvement for Andromeda Tonks, and now we get to have a party too. Loved the way Moony dealt with Draco's pain in the Otherworld and how Hermione deals with Harry's guilt in the "real world". So, we are getting near the final showdown now?? Can't wait for the next chapter - although I could be consoled by a Facing Danger update, of course...
Anne B. Walsh replied:
Yeah, we're getting close. And FD is in the works but going veeeery slowly...

Ah, much as I love the infuriating hints, I just wish for once it was all laid out for me. xD
Oh well, this is still a freaking amazing story and I can't wait for more! :D

It will be, when the story's all over...
