And everything starts to get sorted out now...Hurrah! So, less than 10 chapters to go, hmm, excellent. Do we get back to the Battle of Hogwarts next chapter or will there be more Lily and Snape scenes first? This chapter was really good, getting across some very good points about Severus' feelings for Lily and the way she feels about it. You write her particularly well I think. And I'm glad it was Lily that came to meet Snape and not Dumbledore, much as we love Albus. Hope to see more soon - or Facing Danger, of course!

Yeah, Snape and Dumbledore have kind of a troubled relationship, what with the killing and everything. BoH next chapter, Lily and Snape chapter after that.

Great idea, I must admitt! She probably was the only one who was able to get through to Severus... at least now he should begin to understand.
Honestly... I don't want to imagine what kind of cliff for us poor readers. This last one wasn't that bad - you've thrown worse on me. :)

This was a beautiful chapter. Deep and very profound. I loved how Lily kinda set Severus straight about his feelings for Lily and those for Cecilia. He is not quite there yet but I hope he will be very happy once he returns to the living world and to Cecilia. And I never thought I would wish that for Snape! :D
Hope to see an update soon although this was a quicky as well so I should not nag to much. *does twirly happy dance*

Hmm.. not quite the conversation I'd been expecting but rather better. Never had much sympathy for Lucius.. but just imagine the fun if he'd been able to answer that last question with "yes". Wonder if he'll be around long enough to wonder about that himself.
Meanwhile let me get this straight: Harry has the Elder Wand, Voldemort thinks HE has the Elder Wand, and the pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle. :) BTW - despite recently rereading everything to now I still don't recall how the heck Draco got it. When WAS that?

No, Voldemort's got the real Elder Wand. Harry has the Mastery of it just as in canon. What are you asking how Draco got--the Elder Wand? It was behind Dumbledore's portrait, where somebody in a long dark cloak (probably Dobby on Kreacher's shoulders) stashed it on Dumbledore's orders. The whole rigamarole about Snape was meant to establish Draco as Voldemort's #1 fan and to make sure Draco was around when Snape got killed.

Less than ten chapters left, huh? *sigh* That get's me a little teary-eyed...^^ this is my favorite story by far - it ending will be really sad I guess - but also a totally great moment, seeing this epic tale of yours finished :)
You having ideas for a sequel gives me some hope though!

For Lucius, it's the end of the world as he knows it. I do feel pity for him.......mind you, it is a very small amount of pity.

Absolutely adored the talk with Daddy dearest. Poor Lucius, I thought his head was about to explode there at the end. Definitely more information than his tiny brain could process. Throwing in that bit about Hermoine was the icing on the cake.
Less than 10 chapter to go? *gulps* I know I will be excited to see more time for you to spend on FD, but I will be sad to say farewell to this AU. What am I saying? Of course you may have a cookie. Or anything else you desire if it means we can get another chapter. See what you have done - you have created addicts and some of us are willing to do almost anything to get out fix.
So this Snape has passed on the essential memories, breathed his last, and his soul is safely captured in the soul flask. His part int his world is done. So now Draco must fulfill what was Narcissa's role in the clearing, if you are following canon at least that far. And there is the enduring question: JKR's canon, or the DV canon? No matter, I know that it will be absolutely mindblowing when it does happpen.
