You are soooooo evil!
Once again you managed to turn the tables on me... just when I start to think I just might start to understand where you want to go with that story you pull out a new plot-bunny... one I hadn't seen coming this way... It totally eludes me how you keep managing to do this...
It's certainly great - I'll always enjoy reading your wonderful tales :)

I can hardly wait for an update^^ I guess you can imagine.
This was way better than sleeping^^ You may do so after this tale is finished and I had my Happy End.

Greetings, Baltaine

It WAS?!?!? (starts to run and go look)(skids to a stop)

Hey, sorry I haven't been reviewing lately, the Life Chaos has been reaching new and unexpected heights around here since middish November (the which wreaked havoc on my first ever attempt at NaNoWriMo, but there's always next year) and things may (or may not) start settling down now, for a while anyway. Among assorted other things, we have been much startled to discover that: a) there are lending institutions out there sufficiently crazed to offer *us* a home loan, and b) it actually looks like a good idea to take them up on it! Go figure.

But on to the actual reviewing bit. First the fangirl squeeing part: yay for lots of chapters! Thank you for writing them! Please continue to do so! (subject to the demands of your own life and desire to do so, under free will and harming none, with liberty and justice for all, etc, etc)

Next, the objective, pseudo-literary part:
It's really interesting to be watching all these variously promised, telegraphed, vaguely suspected, and totally startling threads coming together. It seems to me that you've managed to maintain a good balance between revealing enough to hold interest and obscuring enough to maintain surprise. I'm finding myself looking forward to re-reading it when it is finished and seeing how the beginning looks once I know the end, if that makes any sense at all.

And then, the throwing-objectivity-to-the-winds burbling:

Ginny's gonna be something peeved with Ronniekins: cats *hate* being laughed at! Hey, will that talking-without-words thing between Hermione and Drake work at a distance? How much of a distance? And does the distance-between-worlds count if they're actually in the same place at the same time but, um, "next door" to each other, so to speak?

(Suddenly remembers there is new Facing Danger and runs away to read that.)

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Ah, Life Chaos. How I love it. Wow, thanks for the nice compliments! Ginny will survive. And mwahaha... no stealing my ideas!

This was wonderful but it is always to short. :D
I hope that I am correct with my idea that Snape has to die in order for Draco to capture his soul in the Soul-Flask? Thus restoring the Soul to the Severus that was a victim of the Dementor's Kiss on the other side?

Why does Draco want to tell his story to the Dorky Lord. Need to think about that one.

In case you might not have noticed, Facing Danger was updated while the site's email alerts weren't working properly. Hope you enjoyed that, too, if you did see it.

I got the E-mail when I was in the process of shuting the system down for the night and so I transfered it to my phone ..... I did get to finish the chapter but I nodded off and fell asleep on top of my phone ☺ before I could leave a review. I woke up the next morning when my phone started to blear out a tune by the Beach Boys to alert me that it was time for my meds. LOL

That had never happened before and I never realized I forgot to review until I read this! Whooops.

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Oh, you might be correct. You might. And if you haven't noticed, Draco's not quite himself at the moment...

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love updates!!!!!!!!!
These have been 2 great chapters, Harry's reaction was good.
So Draco's going to tell his dad about Hermione?
That should be pretty fun.
Can't wait for another update!!!!

Bloody Brilliant!

"Don’t fight it," he said, working towards a persuasive tone, equal parts coaxing and commanding. "You want this, you need it. Let it happen. I know it feels strange at first but it’ll be over soon and you’ll be happy about it, you’ll see..." He stopped, frowning. "Is it just me, or does that sound like I’m doing something to you that’d make Weasley want to hex my balls to the moon?"

Almost made me spray my hot coco over the keyboard and screen.
Mmmm......chocolate Draco ...... *sighs deeply*

This was lovely Anne.
I guess you are working up to the battle and Draco's 'transfer' to the other world accompanied by Severus' soul.

Looking forward to it! :)

Anne B. Walsh replied:

That's just a tiny bit sick, you know. And yes, working up to it is a good way to put it. Looking forward to it? So am I!

I suspect this is a conversation I shall just adore reading, too. I need to go back and reread the earlier parts of this story; it's evident I missed something (namely why Draco thought he had to win the duel, given the way that wand works.) Keep up the good work!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Draco had to think he had to win because the Mastery of the Elder Wand, or any wand, only passes from one person to another at a true defeat. That is, the current Master has to want to keep the wand, or to win the battle. Dumbledore tried to keep Voldemort from getting the Mastery by arranging with Snape to take the Elder Wand without Dumbledore's being defeated, but Draco got there first.

Anansii posted a comment on Friday 8th January 2010 3:59pm

Grin - the encounter is almost worth the wait. On to the next chapter...

Where have you been!
*hands on wide hips, Molly style*
No Note! Bed unsle.... uuhhh.....sorry, got carried away there for a bit.

Glad to see you back here to finish the tale.

Now Draco has to beat Harry with the Elder Wand in mind.

You almost made me die with; Draco sighed. "Yes, Potter, it’s true," he said in a long-suffering tone. "I really am so sexy I could kill you just by taking off my robes." ROFLOL

*sniffing while wiping away tears*
Don't stay away for to long now my dear.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
Gee^^ What I would give for Ron's and Harry's faces when Hermione tells them about Draco's and her little secret... :D A lot, probably...
The way he was able to restore her hand was really good, considering that he doesn't know that much about medical spells and such. So this way was - for him and Hermione - the only way to somehow restore what he took from her - even if it was to save her.
Now I'm looking forward to the little chit-chat Draco is going to have with his Daddy-dearest... I wonder how Lulu will react to suddenly having a brand-new daughter... from a muggle family *grin*

Greetings, Baltaine

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Oh, it's gonna be a long time before she tells them. Possibly even years. And I think dear Lucky is gonna snap under the pressure... snap like a twig...

BaltaineShadow posted a comment on Friday 8th January 2010 2:27pm

Oh my Gosh!
You're back (for good I hope!)
Wonderful chapter, by the way. I hope they'll be able to settle their silly little grudge now through that duel. It was totally funny when Luna came back and cheerfully announced that she though Draco might need a hand^^ That was really great - as was his reaction.
Now let's see how Draco manages to beat Harry in a fair duel and by thus will manage to secure his future. That would also be great - oh! And don't forget about Hermione's right hand. She still needs that hand, I'm sure!

Greetings, Baltaine

ohh i love it! i cant wait! and i like the plan of messing with snapes head *evil laugh* but that wasnt nice to leave it like that although not as bad as the last one. keep going

Anne B. Walsh replied:

I have worse to come. Mwahaha.

AnnaTigg posted a comment on Wednesday 6th January 2010 7:36am

Ah, so that's how it was going to work out. I wondered why Draco kept thinking he was meant to win the duel against Harry. So everyone now has a a wand (and in some cases a wand hand to go with it) and I'm guessing Voldie is about to realise he's a few Horcruxes short...I look forward to reading the conversation between Draco and Lucius probably as much as you look forward to writing it! Loving this update rate - may it continue!

Anne B. Walsh replied:

Something's going to happen with Voldie, at any rate. I hope so too!

I am so excited; first a FD update two days ago, and now this! I feel positively giddy. I'm also escatic because I actually guessed something right for a change! I am confused as to why Draco didn't know that he was supposed to lose - did only Luna know? And is this the Luna from canon, or the alternate world Draco is going to? I mean, it makes sense that he had to really try to win in order for Harry to truly be the master of the Elder wand. Oh well, confusion in any incarnation of the Dangerverse is bliss, in my book! Keep on confusing me, Anne. I live for this. I can't wait to hear the plan, and I'm REALLY looking forwad to the conversation that you are looking forward to writing. Lucius just might have an aneurism - but I hope he lives through that, since what happens after will be all the sweeter.

I think it sucks that you are getting so few reviews, though. Ever since the fanficauthors site went to the new format, I haven't gotten a single email alert. I think that many people read your story, but they aren't as obsessive as I am at checking fanficauthors to see who has updated! (Am I obsessed, or what?) I only knew that you posted tonight because I also subscribe to the TFA site (I had already done my obligatory check for the evening).

Anne B. Walsh replied:

The email alerts were one of the last things to get fixed up but they're working now. It's canon!Luna, Draco's Luna, who knew this, and she knew it because she had to be able to tell him after it had happened, so he'd know it wasn't all ruined. Lucius won't die from the conversation, but he might lose what he still has of his mind...

Happy New Year Dangerverse! I have been away over the festive period, so while I was aware of your update, I have not actually had chance for fanfiction reading until today. And what a pleasure as usual. So Draco has managed to convince Harry he is trustworthy and they will duel...now in canon Harry had to defeat Draco to have control of the Elder Wand, so I am intrigued to see how this will pan out in the BC universe. More soon please!

Yes, we missed you terribly. Oh my gosh, this chapter was everything I hoped it would be! It was so much fun to watch Draco counter every suspicion that Harry had. And my absolute favorite line of this chapter was, "Yes, Potter, it’s true," he said in a long-suffering tone. "I really am so sexy I could kill you just by taking off my robes." Draco is just a bucket of laughs these days. And the pun at the end was priceless. I'm thinking that I really don't care who wins the duel, because the horcrux is destroyed no matter what.

Oh, wait, I just remembered! Harry has to win Draco's wand so he can defeat the Elder wand when Voldie comes. Duh - I'm actually proud of myself for remembering, cause I usually forget important stuff like that. (If I'm wrong, I don't think I want you to point it out, cause it will just get me all depressed, and that would be such a sucky way to spend the holidays...)
