haa lol that was great....i hate Malfoy just so you know and not Draco...he's a Black...and i knew that Danger wanted kids! it was so obvious earlier in the story...sigh...i wonder if there could possibly be some way to fix that...hmm...after all...Remus is apparently not a werewolf...so shouldn't that mean he could have kids...i mean i still don't get that whole thing...if he's not a werewolf then why does he change...and why can't he have kids...just doesn't make any sense to me and i wish you had explained it better

I'm sorry, but did Harry completely lose any sort of intelligence he ever possessed in this chapter? He has a stunned Voldemort lying next to him, and what does he do with that opportunity? Nothing at all, he just runs away and throws away the easiest chance of destroying Riddle that he will ever have.
Of course there are the Horcruxes, but Harry doesn't know about those yet, so that's not an excuse, and even if he did know, depriving Voldemort of his new body would still be a huge blow for the dark side.
I apologise if I sounded too negative, but it just annoys me when Harry makes such obvious mistakes like that one.
Normally I love this series, so please take this as constructive criticism.
Anne B. Walsh replied:
There are Death Eaters about to arrive, and Harry's almost dead on his feet. If he stays, he might be able to hurt or kill Voldemort, but he might also get hurt (again), killed, or captured. Given the circumstances, he opted for the better part of valor and got himself out alive.

Draco/Luna and Colleen/Blaise are just precious, and I'm sure I'm not alone in praying that at least one of them will work out OK.

More dreaming from canon, one assumes. But what is missing from the bottom of Ron's bed?
I'm loving Luna's description of the Triwizard Tournament as "dragon taming, horticulture, and a swimsuit contest" especially as it's so very nearly perfectly accurate in that special twisted way we all know and love ;-)
It's also nice to see Ron getting treated somewhat better than in canon: you can see his character being developed into the "master strategist" they're going to need later (unless I'm sorely mistaken).

Harry's hallucinations are from canon, right?

I would love to know what Hermione's impractical idea was ;-) One assumes it involved a certain Lynx of their mutual acquaintance?
But seriously, isn't part of telling a good story of this kind is dropping your characters into horrible situations and having them work their way out? And isn't it fun when you can get another character to do all the dirty work for you! ;-)
